DANDELION PROJECT Joins the Gaudí Foundation’s First-Ever Official Collaborative Exhibition “NAKED meets GAUDÍ

In 2026, the centenary year of Antoni Gaudí’s passing, the official joint project “NAKED meets GAUDÍ” by the Gaudí Foundation (Gaudí Foundation of Art, Design and Architecture) and NAKED will launch.

The exhibition will also feature the interactive artwork DANDELION PROJECT, created by artist Ryotaro Muramatsu, introducing a symbolic experience that connects people across the world.

As the first-ever collaborative project with the Foundation, this exhibition will open at Warehouse TERRADA G1 Building in Tokyo from Saturday, January 10 to Sunday, March 15, 2026, and will subsequently tour to Osaka (VS., within GRAND GREEN OSAKA).

Gaudí Foundation’s Hidden Collection Revealed for the First Time Worldwide

This exhibition is an official project timed to coincide with the 100th anniversary of Gaudí’s death and the historic completion of the “Tower of Jesus” at the Sagrada Família.
Through collaboration between the Gaudí Foundation and NAKED, valuable materials that have never before been shown to the public will be presented together for the first time in the world.

The exhibition will include the following items:

・Original drawings of the Sagrada Família (1889)

・Gaudí’s notebooks and handwritten letters

・Tools actually used by Gaudí in his creative work

・Original “Carnation” tiles from Casa Vicens (1883–1885)

・Stained-glass windows from the Crypta Güell (replica)

・Drawings for the university lecture hall “Paraninfo”

・Many other previously unseen scholarly materials

In addition, the exhibition will introduce analyses that approach Gaudí’s mind and inner world based on the latest research in graphology (handwriting psychology).
By combining academic materials with experiential expression, the exhibition is structured to offer a new perspective on Gaudí’s creativity.

Encountering the Essence of Gaudí’s Architecture Through Participatory Art

In this exhibition, visitors will experience participatory artworks such as “completing” part of the Sagrada Família themselves, allowing them to feel the creative energy of Gaudí’s architecture, which always embraces the idea of “the unfinished.”
The displays are designed so that Gaudí’s vision of harmony with nature can be felt not only visually, but also in a bodily and intuitive way.

About Antoni Gaudí

Portrait of Antoni Gaudí ©2026 Gaudí Foundation of Art, Design & Architecture
Antoni Gaudí (1852–1926) was an architect from Catalonia, Spain. He was born in Reus and studied at the School of Architecture in Barcelona, becoming an independent architect in 1878. Through his collaboration with the entrepreneur and close friend Count Eusebi Güell, Gaudí became the most beloved architect among the Catalan bourgeoisie and aristocracy, creating such masterpieces as Park Güell, Casa Batlló, and Casa Milà. His most important work is the Sagrada Família, to whose design and construction he devoted the latter half of his life. Gaudí died in a traffic accident in Barcelona in 1926. Today, many of his works are inscribed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites and continue to exert a profound influence on urban architecture and modern art.
