DANDELION PROJECT” is an art project by Ryotaro Muramatsu based on the concept of “a world full of peace” that transcends all barriers and connects people in these days of increasing division.

DANDELION” is a networked art project in which dandelion art objects are installed around the world, and people who experience it send their wishes for peace as digital flowers to the world in real time, It will be installed at HOTEL THE MITSUI KYOTO.

HOTEL THE MITSUI KYOTO was established on the site of the former residence of the Mitsui So-ryo family, which existed for over 250 years in the vicinity of Nijo Castle, a place associated with the Mitsui family. The hotel is in harmony with the history and culture of Kyoto, with a modern interpretation of the Japanese tea ceremony room, guest rooms made with carefully selected natural materials and superior craftsmanship, and a uniquely Japanese attentiveness and refined behavior.

In the same way, this art, which is connected with the desire to be handed down from generation to generation, overlaps with HOTEL THE MITSUI KYOTO, and this collaboration has been realized.
